Idyllic Vision is a conceptional place of inner peace
serenity reflection calmness and hope. In our minds we
possess the ability to imagine our own sanctury of thought
and healing. Frank Porcelli Ultimately I grew up listening
to roots rock and later on influenced by progressive bands
including Yes, Genisis, and the Beatles. My direction and
cord structures make up my unique interpretation and style
of writing. Looking back I was involved in garage bands and
later on performed the quintessential New Jersey club circuit
as far North as the Log Cabin Inn in Columbia and all the way
South to the fame Stone Pony in Asbury Park or in between some
town or exit along the Garden State Parkway. While attending
school I studied theory and took my guitar and keyboard playing
to another level. After being inspired by fellow songwriters
and other artists I finally discovered my true love for
original music.
Now as a seasoned player and songwriter I have come full circle.
My original music is like a bottle of vintage port wine it is
now ready to be uncorked and enjoyed.
My songs are a compilation of thoughts, ideas, inspirations
and sometimes repressed feelings that add a genuine
meaning to the song.
The goal of a songwriter is to represent truth or try to
interpet it the best way you can and also you have to
get your point across.
I prefer to write about real people and events in my life,
and of the lives of other people, doing this brings out
the human side of the song.
